Henselite UK sposored Paul Foster became the first player to complete the pairs double when partnering tournament debutant Laura Thomas (Wales) to the Mixed Pairs World Matchplay title at Potters Leisure Resort.

Thomas and Foster proved a formidable combination in a straight sets victory over Karen Murphy (Australia) and Scotland's Darren Burnett in the final.
